Organization capabilities and ability to perform:
     Our company goal is to stay ahead of the technical explosion in our markets. We schedule our techs to attend field-training schools each year to keep up with the latest techniques in maintenance and repair. The manufacturers sponsor most of these training schools. Special customer service training is given to all staff members. We also maintain a library of audio and video training materials with manuals covering each type of radio unit that we service.
    ProComm is a member of the EWA industry organization (Enterprise Wireless Alliance). This association represents licensees and service providers in the wireless communications field. It helps to promote our industry and our personnel through representation before the FCC and encouraging professional training and operation as service providers to the community of wireless licensed users. In this endeavor, we encourage our employees to prepare and achieve industry and manufacturer certifications. This benefits both our clients and our company by employing highly trained and motivated people.
    Since ProComm maintains a large number of portables and pagers for Police, Fire and Rescue departments, we stock a large inventory of parts and accessories. The test equipment required to service portables, pagers, general radio transmitters and receivers is specialized and specific to this industry. ProComm’s Blacksburg office has two fully equipped technical repair benches and two repair/installation trucks. Our Lynchburg office has a fully equipped repair bench and repair/installation truck. Additional equipment and inventory are maintained in each of our sales associate’s vehicles in order to serve our clients on the spot. Inventory from major suppliers (Kenwood, Vertex, Motorola and others) is ordered on an established schedule. This investment in inventory and equipment gives us the ability to support any system after initial installation.
